The Tennessee Walking Horse was developed by settlers living in the Middle Basin of Tennessee who wanted a stylish saddle horse that could carry its owner for long hours while he was overseeing work on the plantations. This breed has 3 flashy gaits: the flat walk, the running walk and the rolling canter. Age 4+
